The plot revolves around four vampires – Viago, Vladislav, Deacon and Petyr live together and deal with the mundane of everyday existence.
The character swaps are entertaining. Amidst the chaos, jokes appear frequently and repeatedly that are hilarious. The special effects are also well done. What we do in the shadows can easily make everyone laugh.

The story is as cheerful as it gets, especially given the subject matter. The film also emphasizes the value of men supporting each other through the character of Kyle, played by Seth Rogen. Both actors do fantastic acting. It’s humorous, uplifting, dramatic, heartbreaking and effervescent.

The extraordinarily well done film birdman showcases Iárritu’s beautiful vision and directing prowess.

Silver Linings Playbook, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, is based on the first book of the same name by Matthew Quick. Cooper portrays a bipolar man, Patrizio, released from a psychiatric hospital. Silver Linings Playbook explores the bipolar lifestyle while emphasizing that everyone has flaws in one way or another.

Moonrise Kingdom was perhaps Wes Anderson’s funniest and most depressing film until 2012. Good pacing keeps the plot balanced. The characters in the film are still brutally, gloriously human, despite the bizarre situations they find themselves in. Everyone can enjoy this movie, even with family.

Three notice boards outside Ebbing It might not look like a comedy at first glance, but it’s a brilliant dark comedic drama. The film earned 5 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture of the Year. Leading actress Frances McDormand received the Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
The premise of the film is based on a murder case, which makes it a perfect watch for crime buffs. It explores mother’s grief, rage, retaliation and violence with relevant social commentary. The characters are depicted with authentic emotions and realism. The film masterfully crafts dark comedy to balance out its seemingly jarring tones. The one-liners will seduce the public.

The black comedy anthology film in Spanish, wild tales, includes six short stories that examine the extremes of human conduct. Four of these tales have elements inspired by Szifron’s personal experiences. Each of them is a distinct explosive comedy about the theme of retribution.
Although satirical and dark, the comedy is explicitly hilarious in many situations. Audiences are stunned after each story by director Damian Szifron’s brilliant execution of all the absurd madness and shocking turns. It’s a hidden gem of a movie.
