Auto show, 2 Christmas parades and more – WFTV


ORLANDO, Florida – Looking for something to do this weekend?

Here is a list of nine things that are happening in Central Florida.

1. Central Florida International Auto Show

The Central Florida International Auto Show is heading to the Orange County Convention Center this weekend.

The auto show will feature hundreds of new models, electric vehicles, exotic vehicles, an all-terrain indoor test track, road tests and more.

2. Immersive Van Gogh Orlando

The immersive Van Gogh exhibit is now open at the Orange County Convention Center.

The exhibition brings the work of the impressionist painter to life until January 9.

3. OUC Orlando Half Marathon

Runners will compete in the OUC Orlando Half Marathon this weekend.

The race passes through downtown Orlando and ends at Lake Eola.

There will be more than 3000 runners in the race.

4. Daytona Beach Shores Christmas Parade

The Daytona Beach Shores Christmas Parade takes place this weekend.

The annual parade will feature a performance by the Orlando Philharmonic, traditional tree lighting and food trucks.

5.69th Annual Winter Park Christmas Parade

The city of Winter Park will also host its Christmas parade this weekend.

The parade will cross Park Avenue and West New England Avenue at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

6. Holiday movie at Lake Eola park: Elf

A holiday movie will air in downtown Orlando this weekend.

The movie “Elf” will be played at Lake Eola at 7pm

7. Bank of America “Museums on us on weekends”

If you’re a Bank of America and Merrill and Private Bank credit and debit card holder, you can access the Orlando Science Center for free this weekend.

All visitors are required to book their tickets online in advance.

8. 2021 North Coast Bird Watching Festival

The North Shore Birding Festival takes off this weekend.

The festival will take place at Lake Apopka. Visitors will learn more from expert birding guides.

9. Pop Warner Super Bowl

The Pop Warner Super Bowl arrives at Camping World Stadium this weekend.

The game consists of 72 teams from eight Pop Warner regions playing in three age and weight categories as well as three age-based classifications. There are also two game divisions in the age-based classification, Division I and Division II.
