Got tickets for Immersive Van Gogh San Antonio? Organizers say an update is coming soon

SAN ANTONIO – People who have purchased tickets for the immersive Van Gogh exhibition in San Antonio who have been waiting for months to hear from the organization will have to wait a little longer.

KSAT has received emails from ticket holders seeking answers on whether the traveling art exhibit still plans to stop at Alamo City.

We’ve reached out numerous times over the past month and finally heard from the organizers who said they “will have an announcement next week with more details on Immersive Van Gogh San Antonio.”

The opportunity to browse the works of art by renowned artist Vincent van Gogh was scheduled to take place in November 2021 in San Antonio, but the dates have been pushed back to February 24, 2022 due to venue issues.

“I’m not in a position to say more at this time,” said Nick Harkin, one of Van Gogh San Antonio’s media contacts.

“I understand how frustrating this must be for you. Know that we are working hard to welcome you to our magnificent exhibition and make it an unforgettable experience. We want to make this date change process as easy and hassle-free as possible for you,” Immersive Van Gogh San Antonio producer Corey Ross previously told ticket holders via email.

Ticket holders have the option of changing their tickets to one of the other Texas shows if they cannot attend the February dates and anyone seeking a refund can email [email protected] goghsanantonio.com.

“It’s a wonderful exhibit and I’m sure San Antonio audiences will love it as much as they do in all of our other cities,” Harkin said.
