It turns out that two of Marvel’s three Disney + entries, Loki and WandaVision, are two love stories. On the one hand, you have Vision asking for such romantic things like “what is sorrow but enduring love?” On the other, Loki describes love as a dagger; “It is a weapon to be wielded from far or near. You can see yourself in it. It’s beautiful until it makes you bleed.
Unnatural relationships are at the heart of these shows, but the body is concerned with expanding the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It looks like Marvel Studios is in a state of creative flow, conquering screens big and small while creating a very special conqueror. In some ways, Loki served a more glorious purpose than WandaVision. At the others, WandaVision controlled our minds. Sorry, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier but everyone knows you are third. In this edition of Mandatory TV Battles, let’s talk Loki vs WandaVision and see what is the top Marvel series.

Concept
Many. Loki and WandaVision ride weird tails. The idyllic reality of Wanda Maximoff paying homage to the sitcoms of yesteryear versus the titular god of mischief confronting the bureaucratic organization that controls all space and time, which prunes every world and / or variant that he considers undesirable. Without provoking the fandom’s fury, none of the shows really capitalize on its concepts, but Loki certainly comes close when he decides to go all Rick and Morty in Episode 5; introducing a host of Loki variants, including an alligator. Or maybe we’re so far removed from sitcoms that we don’t care anymore.
Winner: Loki
Love story
Wanda falls in love with a machine and then with a memory of this machine. Loki falls in love with himself, or rather with herself. Although Loki is listed as gender fluid, Loki introduces a female variant of Tom Hiddleston’s character in Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino). Of course, a narcissist would fall in love with themselves. However, the writers don’t play with it; instead, they sterilize the trickster and set up a Mr. & Mrs. Smith showdown. A better love story could have been Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson). Or, maybe just Mobius and his oft-mentioned jet ski. Either way, with Pepper Potts widowed, it’s nearly impossible to compete with the reigning MCU couple, Wanda and Vision.
Winner: WandaVision
Goal
All these fantastic WandaVision separate theme songs (homage to Malcolm in the middle being a personal favorite), the show’s score is more or less typical of Marvel. Loki ‘the score is on some Blade runner shit – futuristic, scary techno that makes scenes of Loki running through the halls of the Time Variance Authority even more dramatic.
Winner: Loki
Cameos
At the end of WandaVisionIn the fifth episode, Evan Peters appears as Uncle Pietro, presumably Quicksilver’s version of the X-Men franchise, and the internet has been set on fire. Not Johnny Blaze, he will come later. Fans took on the guise of Peters in WandaVision to signify that Marvel was officially opening the Multiverse and introducing Disney’s newly acquired Fox characters. In the end, that bait and switch turned into a silly joke and, to be honest, it’s legendary at the elementary school level. Jaime Alexander reprizes his role as Thor Lady Siff of the franchise in LokiThe fourth episode of, which means things for the future, but nothing beats a good troll.
Winner: WandaVision
Effects / Action
Most of WandaVisionThe effects of s are either about Hex or Magic, and the most notable action sequences occur in the finale, which is a repetition of things we’ve seen before. Loki depicts the monster Alioth, a visual representation of the Multiverse, citadels at the end of time … just about everything in the Void is amazing (not to mention the plethora of awesome Easter Eggs). On top of that, Loki has a handful of combat sequences.
Winner: Loki
Revelation of the villain
Thanks to comic book nerds, viewers have spent weeks anticipating a Mephisto reveal in WandaVision. Almost everyone figured out that Kathryn Hahn’s boisterous neighbor was the witch, Agatha Harkness, who in the comics works with Marvel’s Devil to steal Scarlet Witch’s powers. The latter never happened; leading many to laugh at everything Loki theory, the most important being that Kang the Conqueror is the real mastermind behind TVA. Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains (Is He A Villain?) Exceeds Expectations With A Few Ala Monologues time is a flat circle and the promise of “infinite demons”.
Winner: Loki
Multiversal Madness
It’s almost confirmed that Loki is set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Before WandaVision aired, fans already knew Scarlet Witch would be playing a role in the Doctor strange following. Given the show’s alternate reality shtick, everyone thought WandaVision would set up the Multiverse somehow. This is not the case. Loki Is. At the end of her first season, Sylvie makes the potentially reckless decision to kill Whoever Remains, restore free will, free the timeline from fear, and remake Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Spider-Man from Tobey Maguire. . Everything is canon.
Winner: Loki
In Loki, Tom Hiddleston mastered the art of five-minute therapy sessions between CGI fights, determinism commentary and fateful finals. WandaVision, while being engaged at the start and showcasing stellar performances, succumbs to the Marvel formula in a predictable finale. Loki is a full-fledged Marvel theme park that’s incredibly detailed, makes no apologies, and offers a micro-drop worthy of a rivaling finale Planet of the Apeslast blow, bad omen for the past, the present and the future of his universe. If you are an MCU fan you should have seen Loki go to phase four. However, while WandaVision don’t care enough about the future, Loki is probably too worried about tomorrow. In short, another Loki like the man behind the VAT curtain would have made more sense thematically.
