Museum exhibit showcasing Vincent van Gogh’s immersive digital art opens in Indianapolis

Enter the room, surrounded by the work of one of the most legendary artists to date, and illuminated by a digital gallery. The Indianapolis Art Museum in Newfields will soon begin a multisensory digital technology experiment called THE. LUME Indianapolis. THE LUME will occupy the entire 4th floor of the museum and display popular Van Gogh artwork such as Starry Night and Sunflowers. The work will be displayed from floor to ceiling by 150 high definition projectors. Guests are encouraged to lie on their backs or sit on the floor to experience a fascinating 360-degree immersive exhibit with the choreographed soundtrack.
